REEVE, Henry William
Henry William Reeve was born in East Melbourne in 1876, but appears to have had no further contact with the suburb. When he enlisted on 10 August, 1915, he was living with his wife, Lily G Reeve at Castlemaine St. ,Yarraville , and working as a labourer.

Reopening of St Peter's Plaza Eastern Hill
On 10 November, St Peter’s Plaza and the restored ‘Cross of Sacrifice’ were re-opened to the public. Dating from 1924, the cross is a memorial to the fallen soldiers of World War 1, modelled on wayside crosses in France and is the only one of its kind in Australia.

REYNOLDS, Raymond Gifford
Raymond Gifford Reynolds was born in Bendigo in 1895. He was the son of Harry Thomas and Jessie Reynolds. On his enlistment papers dated 19 August 1914 he stated that he was a draper and that he been an apprentice with Myers in Bendigo for three years. He gave his mother as his next of kin with an address in Bendigo. This was later changed to 76 Simpson Street, East Melb
