A Picture of Diversity
Catalogue of exhibition of photographs entitled 'A Picture of Diversity' put on by the East Melbourne Historical Society to celebrate the East Melbourne Group's jubilee year in October 2004. Gives short histories of several buildings in East Melbourne and Jolimont, some of which have been demolished, others still stand. Also short biograhies of some past East Melbourne identities.

Amorique, 115 Hotham Street, East Melbourne
Colour photo of Amorique, a timber framed weatherboard house at 115 Hotham Street. The building was demolished in 1979 to be replaced by a block of flats called Amourique (note the change in spelling).

Brentani Terrace Plans, 159-161 Grey Street
Set of four architectural plans prepared by Peter Matthews for Mrs Brentani for the construction of "Brentani Terrace", at 159 and 161 Grey Street, East Melbourne. The framed originals are available for sale from Tarlo and Graham.
Views include front, rear and side elevations as well as floor plans for the main houses and outhouse buildings. Drawing 2 is behind glass.

Browne Family and Park House, 124 Wellington Parade, East Melbourne
Photo shows single house of terrace type. A carriage, possibly a landau, with a pair of horses, and driver aboard, waits in front. The house was on the site of the current Post Office (2008) at 124 Wellington Parade. At the time the photo was taken it was owned by Hugh Junor Browne, spiritualist and distiller, whose daughter, Elizabeth Martha Ann (Pattie), married Alfred Deakin.

Celebrating our 150th Anniversary. Clarendon Terrace 1857-2007
Three filmed talks produced by the Menzies Foundation celebrating the 150th year since the construction of Clarendon Terrace. 1. Miles Lewis speaking on Melbourne in the 1850s. This was hosted in conjuction with the East Melbourne Historical Society and was held on the night of its AGM at Clarendon Terrace. 2. Celestina Sagazio of the National Trust, conducted a walk around East Melbourne.
