Holy Trinity Church: aftermath of 1905 fire
The original Holy Trinity Church was built in 1864 and was in George Street, East Melbourne, near the corner of Clarendon Street. On New Year's Day 1905 the church was completely gutted by fire.

An article about the life and work of Joyce Meier. Joyce Meier and her family lived at 73-75 Grey Street, East Melbourne for nearly 60 years. She had trained as an artist but did not pursue a professional career after her marriage, but continued to paint for her own pleasure. She filled her house with canvases and murals. Photos

Cliveden Mansions - Dining Room Bookings 1950s
A hand-written list of names of residents at Cliveden Mansions detailing their dining room bookings. There are columns for Breakfast, Luncheon, Dinner, Trays and Syphons. Only surnames are given. The list can be dated to the early 1950s. It has been pasted to a plywood backing.

Cliveden Mansions - Dining Room Bookings 1960s
Several copies of a typed list of names of residents at Cliveden Mansions prepared for dining room bookings. There are columns for Breakfast, Luncheon, Dinner, Trays, D/Room Extras and Aerated Waters. Only surnames are given. The list can be dated to the 1960s, the final years of Cliveden Mansions before it was demolished to make way for the Hilton Hotel.

Ferries on the Yarra
Ferries on the Yarra by Colin Jones tells the story of ferry travel on the Yarra from the earliest days of white settlement and covers the stretch of river from Studley Park to the Docks. Many of the ferries travelled along the East Melbourne section of the river and Brander's Ferry, in particular, provided river crossings before the advent of the Swan Street Bridge.
