Cliveden Album
An album of a collection of material relating to the home of Sir William Clarke, Cliveden, 192 Wellington Parade, which was demolished in 1968 to make way for the Hilton Hotel. Items include copies of original plans, copies of photos of elaborately furnished interiors and copies of contemporary news reports.

Photographs of artifacts of Cliveden Mansions bought at auction in 1968 and incorporated into a house in Brighton by architect George Sommers (1904-1984). The house was designed in 1969 and built by 1971.

Cliveden, 192 Wellington Parade, East Melbourne - 1887
Scanned copy of wood engraving of proposed residence of Sir W.J. Clarke on the corner of Wellington Parade and Clarendon Streets, East Melbourne. The building is described as "Italian Renaissance style, large private residence on corner of Clarendon St. and Wellington Pde; Mr. S. Armstrong, builder; Messrs. Wardell and Vernon, architects."

East Melbourne, Albert Street 109, Burnell
Two storey house with a tower, verandah and balcony with central portico, all decorated with arches of Moorish influence.
The house at 109 Albert Street appears to have been completed c.1877 when it first appears in the Rate Books (Albert Ward) as a brick house of 12 rooms. However there had been a lengthy gestation. The land on which it stood (Lot 16, Section 11) was bought at the first Crown Land Sales on 18 November 1852 for £200 by Luke Chambers, a builder.
