Notes on card: No. 20a situated behind No. 20. 20a appears to be attached to No. 16, c1870 Mr. Robt Dixon. Cottage with attic rooms, probably a former coach house. Fronts onto yard behind post office. Has entrance from lane in Hotham Street. R.O.W. on north side leads tp P.O. yard. Appears 1894 on Board of Works Map M387 and in overlay 1922-32. A sign 'The Tabernacle' with pointer can be seen on brickwall of No. 20 - under paint - from P.O.
1934 - 1972? Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society. 'The Tabernacle' was also Jehovah's Witness.
Sold about 1973 to Mr.Thompson. Is now a residence. Mr. Thompson, present owner, says building is divided between two titles.
