Miscellaneous collection of items relating to Balzac restaurant. The restaurant operated between 1956 and 2001. Started by George and Mirka Mora who sold it in late 1970s to Leon Massoni. In 1958 it held the first licence in Victoria to allow alcohol to be served with meals until 10 p.m. Artist Charles Blackman worked there as a short order cook when it first opened.
