Information compiled from various sources by descendants of Robert Huckson, architect and builder, for family history purposes. Includes table of descendants; brief biography; chronology of events in his life; notes and transcripts of newspaper articles on his works, including Clarendon Terrace, the old Treasury, 157 Hotham St., East Melbourne Congregational Church, his own residence in Powlett St. Also includes photocopy of 'Laurel Lodge', Number 51 Langhorne Street, Dandenong published by the Dandenong and District Historical Society. Also phoitocopied extract from Melbourne After the Gold Rush by Michael Cannon (pp 118-121 plus cover and relevant index page) which gives the background leading up to the building of the old Treasury. Also includes printouts of tender notices for his works. .
