Beauchamp, valuer, to Mr. Bernard Nolan, solicitor, reporting valuations of three properties on Clarendon Street from the Grey Street to Gipps Street. The properties were "Verona", 132 Clarendon Street; 146 Clarendon Street, the most northerly house of "Fitzroy Terrace"; and "Clarendon", 150 Clarendon Street.
These properties, including all of Fitzroy Terrace, were all subsequently purchased for demolition to make way for the Mercy Hospital for Women.
Also attached to the letter is a list of ten recent sales in the vicinity.
