A scanned copy of typescript entitled Memories of East Melbourne by K.A.D.(Keith) Smith. The author writes of his memories growing up in East Melbourne in the 1930s. He and his family lived at 108 Powlett Street. His memories include billy cans left hanging on front gates waiting for the milkman to fill them in the early hours of the morning, and Zoe Calwell playing with the amateur theatre company which performed at the Cairns Presbyterian, (later Uniting) Church.
