Blockbuster is a biograhy of Fergus Hume but more it is the story of his famous book, The Mystery of a Hansom Cab, published in 1886.  It was one of the earliest dectective stories in the English language, and set in Melbourne, with many scenes taking place in East Melbourne.  
While writing the book Hume lived in a five roomed house at what is now 53 George Street, East Melbourne. (The house was demolished in the 1930s and replaced by a small block of moderne apartments.
