Bookcase A book of over 700 black and white photographs of early Melbourne scenes, mainly buildings, which have been demolished or significantly changed. The first half of the book concentrates on the CBD but includes public gardens and the Yarra River. The second half of the book looks at a number of the inner suburbs. East Melbourne has its own chapter of 15 photos. The book was produced under the auspices of the Royal Historical Society of Victoria with help from local historical societies, including the East Melbourne Historical Society.
