Copy of article in Ancestor June 2003. Letters from Eleanore La Trobe to Mrs. Roy-Applin (nee Woods). Mrs. Roy-Applin was related by marriage to the Bedggood family of shoe manufacturers. It was she who persuaded the Bedggods to save La Trobe's cottage. She corresponded with Eleanore La Trobe to find out more about their family life in Melbourne. The letters are dated 1935-1937.

Time Recalled
The second of two volume memoir by Fairlie Taylor. Taylor started work as a teacher in regional Victoria. In 1933 she became Victoria's first full-time teacher-librarian at Presbyterian Ladies' College, East Melbourne and later at Methodist Ladies' College. This volume covers the period 1920-1978. It has an account of her time at PLC (1933-1943) including the names of many teachers.
