East Melbourne, Gipps Street 118, Crathre House
A large two storey cement rendered house in the Italianate style.
Pre-history: Before Crathre House was built there was another house on the site - a large wooden house known as The Bungalow. This house was owned by Henry Dyer as an investment property. He lived next door at 121 Powlett Street with his wife, Mary, and their children. He owned many other properties in the immediate vicinity.
Former Yarra Park School
The East Melbourne Historical Society is undertaking a project on the history of the former Yarra Park State school.

Passions of a Warrior - John Monash
Newspaper clipping about an ABC documentary on the life of Sir John Monash with emphasis on its social and private aspects.
John Monash lived in East Melbourne with his wife and daughter c.1899-c.1912, first at 118 Gipps Street and then at 74 Gipps Street.
