Max Griffiths will take us through the life of Dr Adam Cairns (1802-1881), clergyman and theologian, and founding father of the Presbyterian Church in Melbourne.  He established Chalmers Church, its first place of worship, on Eastern Hill. After his death Cairns Memorial Church in Powlett Street was built in his memory.
