A study by University of Melbourne architecture students under the supervision of Jan Gehl, School of Architecture, Royal Academy, Copenhagen in 1976. It compares and analyses soft and hard interfaces between public and private space across a variety of Melbourne's suburbs, and the importance these have on social interaction.

Treasury Square - Gas and Fuel-style debacle looms

A newpaper clipping giving commentary on the proposed development of the newly named Treasury Square.  This is land is currently owned by VicTrack and is on the boundary between East Melbourne and the City and is at the junction of Flinders Street, Spring Street and Wellington Parade. The writer, Dr James Lesh, makes a strong case against the development.
