Scan of original photograph printed on post card. Picture shows rear patio of Amorique with Henri Lamandé adjusting the front wheel of a shiny new Abingdon motorcycle. A kangaroo, with its back to the camera, is also studying this very fine machine.

Alix Lamande, music teacher, resident of 115 Hotham Street - 1913

Photograph taken in 1913 of Alix Lamandé with her hand resting on a piano stool. Alix was a music teacher residing with her father, Ambrose Lamandé at Amorique, 115 Hotham Street, East Melbourne. Ambrose lived there from 1906 until 1919.
