Vertical file Two articles appearing in the same issue of Royal Auto about the Eureka Stockade. The first, "Victoria's Bloody Sunday" by Professor Geoffrey Blainey, tells the story of the rebellion. The second, "The Flag was Stolen ... It Must Return" by Jenny Brown, tells of the fight to have the original Eureka flag moved from its current home at the Ballarat Fine Art Gallery to the Eureka Stockade Centre.
Peter Lalor, who led the rebellion, lived in East Melbourne, first at 85 Powlett Street 1876-1883, and then at 16 Morrison Place from 1884 until his death in 1889.
