11.3.1916   Enlisted in AIF 15th Reinfocements 24 Battallion

25.9.1916  Embarked on the "Shropshire" for active service abroad

11.11.1916  Disembarded at Plymouth

13.12.1916  Proceeded to France

5.6.1917      Admitted to 7th Field Hospital

27.7.1917   Discharged from Hospital and rejoined unit

9.10.1917    Wounded in action with gunshot wounds to left arm area and side and admitted to 3rd Australian Field Ambulance

12.10.1917   Transferred to England and admitted to Middlesex War Hosptial

10.3.1918    Returned to Australia per "Durham Castle"

10.5.1918    Disembarked in Melbourne

25.10.1918  Discharged from AIF at Melbourne as Medicaly unfit

 

Post War Norman was residing at 92 Kambrook Road Caulfield, however his whereabouts thereafter are unknown
