Geoge Edward Flack

Enlisted on 22nd October 1916 at Broadmeadows at the age of 21 years ad 4 months, being described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 122 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair.

Occupation: Carpenter

Religion: Methodist

Miliatary Unit: 20 Batallion 14th Reinforcements

Overseas Service: embarked for Active Service abroad on 7th September 1916.

Admitted to General Hospital Codford with influenza on 1st December 1916.  Transferred to 1st Auxillary Hospital at Harefield on 1st December 1916 with rheumatism and endocarditis.

Returned to Australia on the 15th February 1917 on he H.T. BENALLA.

Disembarked at Melbourne on 10th April 1917 and was discharged as Medically Unfit on the 18th May 1917.

Total Military Service - within Australia = 115 days, - overseas + 216 days

Medals:  Star, Victory & British War Medal.
