Biographical notes: 

Terence Dyett enlisted at Melbourne. He was aged 24 years 7 months on 13 July 1915, and worked as a factory hand.  he gave as his next of kin, his wife, Mrs. Rosalie Dyett of 1151 Hoddle Street, East Melbourne.  He was 5ft. 4 ins. with dark brown hair and blue eyes.  he was recruited into the 7th Battalion, which embarked on 29 Septembe, 1915, for Egypt.  On 15 October, 1915,  a telegram was sent to his wife reporting him dangerously ill with pneumonia. He was again reported dangerously ill with pericarditis on 15 Jan 1916, and invalided back to Australia 28 January, 1916, from Suez for discharge.
