Biographical notes: 

Wounded in action (twice); eldest son of Monsieur and Madame Dubois, 179 Gipps Street, East Melbourne, again seriously wounded in France, and in hospital at Boulogne  suffering from multiple gun shot and amputation of left leg Capt Dubois, who also fought in the South African war, is a native of Australia

Captain Dubois was born in Walhalla.  He fought in the Boer War then worked in Malaysia, then went to France to fight in the First World War.  He settled in the UK and is buried in Longden, Shropshire.
