Archie was born Parhran in 1894, son of William Brunt and Sarah Buckland nee Brunt

Enlisted on the 11 Jan 1915 in Melbourne, aged 21 and listed as a farmer

Spent several month 11 Jan 1915 to29 March 1915 at the 13th Light Horse Training depot at Broadmedows

Embarked on A34 ss Persic ex Melbourne on the 28 May 1915 for Eygpt

Transferred to Gallipoli 4 September 1915

Charged with Neglect of Duty, 10 days Field Punishment, on 29 September 1915

Disembarked from Mudros 8 Jan 1916 to Alexandia
